Picnic Among Friends 2026
Description
You are warmly invited to Picnic Among Friends - a free annual gathering that brings our community together to remember, honour and celebrate those we love who have died.
Whether your loss is recent or long ago, whether you are remembering a friend, relative, beloved pet or holding grief for our world - all are welcome. This is a gentle gathering that offers a space to reflect and keep the memory of our loved ones present in our lives. There are optional activities you can take part in throughout the afternoon. The gathering will include a simple ceremony at 3pm.
What to bring:
- an item that holds meaning for you to place, if you wish, by the Memory Tree (to be taken home afterwards)
- picnic rug or chair
- food and drinks for yourself/your group
