🌿 Picnic In The Park – You're Invited! 🌿

International Volunteer Day is coming up, and we’d love for you to join us as we celebrate the wonderful volunteers who give their time, energy and heart to our community. 💚This year, Albany & Regional Volunteer Service (ARVS) is celebrating a day early with a Picnic in the Park! 🧺🌳

📅 Friday 4 December 2026
⏰ 11am–2pm
📍 Eyres Park, Albany

Come along and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with fellow volunteers and the ARVS team, including:

🍔 A BBQ lunch
☕ A coffee van
🍰 Cupcakes
🎶 Some tunes and good vibes - The amazing musical trio 'The Offsiders' are joining us for the day! 🙂 
🎯 Lawn games and activities
🧺 Plenty of time to relax, chat and celebrate!

This is our way of saying THANK YOU to the amazing volunteers who help make our community a better place. Whether you volunteer with a local organisation, community group, club or somewhere else, you’re invited!

Bring your chair, picnic rug and your volunteer group, and come along for a fun afternoon of appreciation. You’re also welcome to bring your own food if you’d like to make a real day of it, last year a couple of groups used this opportunity/event to 'host' their volunteer Christmas party, which was lovely to see 🙂Its a busy time of year - so its a great opportunity to make the most of everyone being in one place at the same time 🙂
