Join the RFDS for a relaxed afternoon of family fun at Picnic with the Planes - RFDS Bundaberg Base presented by Textron Aviation.
Nestled amongst the aircraft, this event welcomes the Bundaberg and surrounding communities into our home. Overlook the runway which saw 2,398 RFDS landings in the last financial year alone and meet the team who transported 2,012 patients.
From food trucks to lawn games, live music and the RFDS Road Simulator, there is plenty for everyone to enjoy!
Please note that, due to overwhelming demand, our Aeromedical Training Academy Tours are sold out. But never fear, there is still plenty to do at Picnic with the Planes - RFDS Bundaberg Base! Come on down to meet our staff, climb into the cockpit of the RFDS Road Simulator and enjoy a relaxing afternoon surrounded by planes, delicious food and ice cold drinks.
