For the first time ever, Pierre Bensusan is bringing his acclaimed Residential Guitar Seminar from his home in rural France to the Midwest.

Join a small group of passionate guitarists for a deep, immersive, and inspiring 3-day retreat led by one of the world’s most celebrated acoustic guitarists. This is a rare opportunity to study with Pierre without traveling internationally – right here in the "Twin Cities".

• Full tuition (18 hours)

• 2 nights accommodation (August 1 & 2) at the Holiday Inn

• Breakfast both mornings

Please note: accommodation packages are based on discounted group rates and include breakfast. Additional nights must be arranged separately.

What to Expect

• 18 hours of hands-on group lessons across 3 days

  • Focus on fingerstyle acoustic guitar with deep dives into:

    • Right and left-hand techniques

    • Tone, phrasing, rhythm, and musical expression

    • Harmony, chord voicings, and fretboard fluency

    • Creative tools including harmonics, tapping, ornamentation, and more

• Tuition is open to intermediate and advanced players – all styles and tunings welcome (not limited to DADGAD)

• Small group format (maximum 19 students) to ensure focused attention and interaction

Daily Schedule

• Doors open: 9:30 AM

• Lessons: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM & 2:30 PM–5:30 PM

• Total: 18 hours of group tuition with Pierre across 3 days
