Pigs and Apples- Southern Highlands WOHO and PorkStar Showcase
Event description
In partnership with Porkstar, we're exploring the south coast for a day of pigs and apples to meet the female farmers behind Red Leaf Farms and Darkes Glenbernie Orchard.
We'll get a tour of Red Leaf pig farm, enjoy lunch cooked by James Viles of Biota/Bertha then head out on a 50 seat tractor to explore Darkes Glenbernie Apple Orchard.
Tickets for the day are $80 including bus from and to Sydney, tours of the farms, snacks by Rowie Dillon, lunch and cider and other drinks.
If you wish not to take the bus to and from Sydney (and make your own way around all stops), tickets are $60.
Both men and women are welcome!
Agenda is as follows:
8am- Pick up from Sydney CBD
10am- Visit Red Leaf Farm
12:30pm- lunch at Bertha
3:15pm- Visit Darkes Glenbernie Orchard
6pm- Arrive back in Sydney
