Pilates For A Purpose (in Aid of '20 Hours For 20 Talk')

Join us at Infinite Co on Sunday November 3rd for 'Pilates For A Purpose' an empowering fundraising event dedicated to mental health through the '20 Hours for 20 Talk’ initiative. Experience a unique blend of mindful movement and Pilates led by Miriam and Nicole, two seasoned instructors who are both incredibly passionate about their craft.

This session is specifically designed to help you to reconnect with your body and find your inner zen. This special event will conclude with a raffle with some fantastic prizes to be won, delicious refreshments, and a grounding closing circle so that you leave feeling grounded and rejuvenated.

What to Expect:

- A 45-Minute Pilates Session: Suitable for all fitness levels.

- An Introduction to 20Talk: Learn about the charity and its mission.

What is 20 Hours For 20 Talk?

On November 9th, I (Miriam) am going to sit in a 2-metre square box for 20 hours with no technology and no talking, in a room with 40 participants. This challenge is going to push me mentally to the limits. All I will have is my own thoughts, a journal and a chair to sit on.

This intense experience highlights the loneliness and isolation often associated with mental health struggles.

Structurally, the statistics are alarming:

Suicide still remains the leading cause of death for young people aged 15-44.
Only 2% of mental health funding goes towards prevention (Mental Health Commission 2022)

Your participation in this fundraising event at Infinite Co on November 3rd directly supports 20Talk’s prevention campaigns, making mental health education accessible for young people. 100% of the ticket cost goes directly towards 20 Talk.
