Red Cross Pillowcase Workshop for Kids
Event description
This engaging workshop is designed specifically for children aged 8–12 to learn about emergency preparedness in a fun and interactive way.
Delivered in partnership with the Australian Red Cross, the session uses storytelling, hands-on activities, and creative expression to help children build resilience and confidence when facing emergencies such as storms, bush fires, or floods.
Participants will decorate their own pillowcase—a symbol of preparedness—and take home practical tips to share with their families.
Registration is essential for children attending the Red Cross Pillowcase Workshop. Adults do not require a ticket but must remain present for the duration of the workshop.
