If you love styled shoots and want to get better at natural light outdoor portraiture, then "Pin Up in the Park" is the workshop for you!
Join us for a delightful afternoon of shooting two pin up styled models in the natural park and bushland setting at Kent Street Weir. We will focus on giving you a very solid understanding of using natural light in photographing portraits, and you'll shoot in small groups of four, working with our pin up models.
This workshop is designed for photographers who want to gain a better understanding of the different styles of shooting in natural outdoor light, and who are looking for something cool and vintage to add to their portraiture portfolio.
The workshop focuses on your learning by doing, while also giving you the opportunity to create amazing images of our pin up models!
What you'll learn:
The lenses that will let you create these style of portraits, and how to best use them.
Understand depth of field and discover how you can create super shallow depths of field in your portraits.
How to position and pose your portrait subject for backlight, soft light and directional lighting in an outdoor environment.
How to control and manage natural light outdoors to create the kind of lighting that evokes a dreamy, vintage look.
We are limiting participation to 8 photographers, so you can work in small groups.
