What to Expect:
- A 2.9-mile moderate trail with 328 feet of elevation gain. Trail details HERE
- Exploration of the abandoned Pine Swamp Mine and its surrounding natural beauty.
- Time to connect with fellow adventurers and enjoy the tranquil wilderness.
- A post-hike stop at a cozy eatery to relax and refuel before heading back to the city.
What to Bring:
- Sturdy hiking boots (required).
- Weather-appropriate clothing, including warm layers, gloves, and a hat.
- A daypack with water, snacks, and a packed lunch.
- A flashlight or headlamp for exploring the mine safely.

Event Schedule:
- 10:00 AM – Meet at The Standard Biergarten in NYC
- 10:30 AM – Depart for Harriman State Park
- 12:00 AM – Arrive at the trailhead and begin the hike
- 2:00 PM – Snack break and exploration of the Pine Swamp Mine
- 3:00 PM – Conclude the hike and head to a nearby café or pub
- 5:00 PM – Depart for NYC
