ABOUT US:

Pink Ink Australia is the most exciting and unique charity in Australia.

Founded in 2023, Pink Ink was established to provide funding for funds anatomical, camouflage and cosmetic tattoos for those breast cancer survivors who have been left with no nipple/areola, no breast, severe scarring or burns, or permanent eyebrow loss from breast cancer surgery, mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

80% of women have PTSD symptoms after breast cancer diagnosis; and survivors may have symptoms of post-traumatic stress at any point from diagnosis through treatment, after treatment is complete, or during recurrence. The physical scarring and loss of anatomy are emotional and visual triggers that impact the daily lives of survivors - causing flashbacks, nightmares, leading some into deep depression and even suffering body dysmorphia which is a mental condition (often attributed to eating disorders) but a condition that is linked to suicide.

The tattoos Pink Ink Australia funds will transform severe scarring into beautiful works of art - enabling survivors to reclaim their bodies and become a powerful new version of themselves as a sexy and desirable human being.

Aftercare is the forgotten stage of breast cancer survival. There is no other charity in Australia assisting survivors with this type of aftercare - and we welcome your support.
