Pint-Sized Plays - Queenstown

Remarkable Theatre is thrilled to be performing the short-listed finalist scripts from 2025's play writing competition.

Pint-Sized Plays are short format, live theatre that can be enjoyed in a pub-like environment over a pint using minimal props, a small cast, limited sets and little tech support. Over three days and four shows, Remarkable Theatre will bring these plays to life. As this is a play writing competition, the audience also gets to vote for their preferred script, with the gold, silver and bronze playwrights being announced each night and the overall places being confirmed at the end of the final night.

Please arrive at 6:30pm to allow time to secure your seat. Please park your vehicle at the rear of the building, then enter via the stairs on the front right corner of the building before grabbing a drink from the bar and hanging out in the lounge area. There will be a 15 minute break after the first four plays. After the eighth play, the audience will be asked to scan the programme QR code to vote for their preferred play before the results are announced within 5 minutes.

The Handlebar Barbecue and Brewery will be opening later so you can come early grab a bite to eat and then come upstairs to watch the show.
