Event description

We’re excited to launch the first session of Pints of Business — a new speaker series bringing Massey Business School researchers and the Manawatū business community together for meaningful conversations in a relaxed setting.

You’ll join a group of local professionals for three interactive discussions, each hosted by a different academic, covering:

🔹 Regional Resilience: Thriving in a Changing Economic Landscape

🔹 Strategy in Uncertain Times: Planning for Growth Amid Disruption

🔹 People, Productivity, and Place: Building a Future-Ready Workforce

How it works:

Groups will be curated to include a mix of industries to encourage cross-sector thinking.

After a one-minute pitch from each academic, they’ll rotate between tables to lead three 10-minute discussions, with short breaks in between.

Each academic will share key themes and takeaways in a closing debrief facilitated by MC Professor Stephen Kelly.

Your $25 ticket includes:

One house drink (beer, wine, spirit or non-alcoholic)

A table platter of food, sponsored by Massey Business School

Engaging, practical insights from Massey researchers

Valuable connections with other local business leaders

RSVP now – spaces are limited! Free to attend.

Please note that you w.ill be sent an email after registering containing a link to a form to rank your topics by interest - this is to help to seat you accordingly.

We can’t wait to see you at Brew Union for a pint and some powerful business conversation.
