Pintxo Presents: Ravishing Ribera del Duero
Description
Ribera del Duero, simply said, is the home of arguably the best wines in Spain, and some of the finest in the world. Mountain ranges cradle the mighty Duero River, as it winds its way first south, and then all the way west through Spain, and into Portugal, where it becomes known as the Duoro.
In Spain's Ribera del Duero D.O., the main focus is "Tinto Fino": Tempranillo. And nowhere does this wonderful red grape dominate as it does here: the vast majority of RdD's wines are red, which must be 75% Tempranillo. We'll also (hopefully!) find you an example of a rare white from the region, made with the grape Albillo Mayor, for a truly unique white wine experience before we dive into big, bold reds!
Join Julian and a special guest sommelier for this special event in our acclaimed dinner series, where we explore some of the best Spain has to offer. Only 18 seats - reserve your spot now! One of our region's most memorable wine dinners, only at Pintxo Wine & Tapas.
