PIPES - The All Star Singing Show!

Izzy Inyette hosts a variety show with all the glitz and glam you've come to expect in Naarm. There's just one rule: no lip-syncs, only live vocals!

After a smash season at The Victorian Pride Centre, PIPES is back to create more magic and provide a space where performers can raise their voices and sing their most vulnerable or cooked heartsongs

For the first time, we are bringing you Open PIPES, an open stage segment where performers battle it out for a full performance spot at the next installment of PIPES!

Join our star-studded lineup of Cabaret, Burlesque and Drag performers for an evening of heart, humour and all-round campery as we take over one of Melbourne's iconic music venues - The Penny Black!

And if you don't want to miss out on the fun, at the end of the show we will be inviting everybody in the building to be part of the inaugural PIPES Pub Choir. We will teach you some harmonies and then we will all sing our faces off to the most loving audience in the business - The Penny Black Bar Staff!

Expect laughs, tears and maybe even a deep understanding of why most performers prefer to lip-sync!

Please Note: PIPES is a mask-encouraged space. As access to the Beer Garden at The Penny Black is through the event area, we cannot guarantee complete covid safety. We encourage all attendees and performers to do a RAT test on the day of the show. Limited face masks will be available on the door.
The venue is wheelchair accessible with accessible bathrooms located in the beer garden.
