February – Bathtime

Pirrku Explorers is a social, child-led session, where after Storytime families can move through a range of educational activities suitable for children approximately 2 - 7 years in their own time and at their own pace. Children either play alongside, talking with their carer, or perhaps discover friendships with other families. This month our stories, songs, activities and crafts are bath themed.  We will be using water in our activities, so children may get wet

Pirrku Explorers takes place on the first Friday of each month. The Kaurna word for story is pirrku and Pirrku Garden is the name of the garden area we are establishing at the rear of the Evanston Gardens Library.  This program takes place (weather depending) outside in the Pirrku Garden. The area has dappled shade so we recommend hats and sunscreen. If the weather is not suitable we will relocate inside the library.
