This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Pitching Compelling Research Ideas involves a presentation and Q&A on tactics for making the argument for funding a project compelling. It addresses both the pitch to funders such as the ARC and the pitch to potential industry partners. The second hour involves participants in making their own pitch and taking questions and challenges from the group, then reflecting.

This workshop is targeted at mid-career researchers but is open to the entire UTS research community.

This workshop will be presented by Prof Brian Yates, Outside Opinion and co-ordinated by UTS Aspire. The workshop will be recorded and uploaded onto the UTS Aspire site at the conclusion of the event.

This session will be recorded.

This is a UTS Aspire event. UTS Aspire is a program of pan-university research development opportunities led by the Research Capability and Development Team.
