Description

FREE FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT. MUST REGISTER FOR THE ROUND HOUSE DUE TO WET WEATHER

Experience an unforgettable evening with Peter Salmon, a 92-year-old Thiinma Elder, stockman, songwriter and the last fluent speaker of the Thiinma language. Through heartfelt stories, music and laughter, Peter shares his extraordinary life, deep connection to Country and the living culture of the Thiinma people.

Joining Peter is linguist, songwriter and creative producer Rosie Sitorus. Together, they weave ancient language with contemporary song, creating a moving and uplifting performance that celebrates culture, resilience and connection.

This is a rare opportunity to hear one of Australia's oldest living stories shared by the person who has lived it.

Due to wet weather, this event has now moved to The Round House in the Heritage Park. Limited numbers so MUST register and arrive by 5.50pm to guarantee entry.

🪑 SEATING: 100 chairs available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once full, standing room only. Please DO NOT bring your own chairs.

🍽️ FOOD: Please don't bring picnic food. Instead, grab a bite at PARK Manjimup Café in Heritage Park, which is staying open until the performance! Or enjoy dinner at one of Manjimup's local venues afterwards.

🙏 PLEASE SHARE so everyone knows about these important changes!

❤️ We look forward to seeing you there!
