Join Ian Bird (CEO Community Foundations Australia) and Meaghan Burkett (Place Based Capital lead at Ethical Fields) for a conversation hosted Jacqueline McArthur (Place Based Capital Network Member from the Western Murray Land Improvement Group).

Ian hit the road and the airports this year, new in his role, to understand better how community led philanthropy works in Australia and he found some interesting strengths and weaknesses in the way we do things here, Meaghan spent a year on the road with her family talking community wealth building with local leaders around the country. Both have a huge amount to share.

They are very interesting humans and there’s also interesting changes underway Federally to expand the potential of community lead philanthropy so it bound to be a fascinating session.
