Place-based Reconciliation Pilot; Great Southern
Event description
Across our vast State, Western Australians know that every place we are fortunate to call home has a story of its own, which is as unique as the people who find belonging there. Listening deeply to these stories, engaging in respectful dialogue, and responding to those unique landscapes is vital for meaningful reconciliation outcomes.
Reconciliation Australia (RA) and Reconciliation WA (RWA) are encouraged by the Great Southern region’s interest in developing community-led initiatives in support of Wagyl Kaip and Southern Noongar; the Goreng, Ganeang and Menang peoples’, self-determination.
Place-based Reconciliation Pilot
We warmly extend an invitation to all Pilot stakeholders to attend our next workshop held on Menang Boodja in Denmark, WA.Â
This is our opportunity to re-connect, share progress to date and the opportunities ahead for our continued collaboration and seek to look towards our next horizon of Relationships Rising
