Plaits and Pints Sunday Session 27th September
Description
Parents… it’s time.
If you’ve ever:
Been asked to do a plait and immediately panicked
Sent your daughter to the other parent because “I’ll make it worse”
Attempted a ponytail that somehow became off centre, and fell out straight away
…this is for you.
👨👧 What’s the deal?
We’re bringing parents together for a hands-on, zero-judgement, super relaxed, crash course in doing your little girl’s hair while they get a chance to chat to other parents and enjoy a beer or 5.
Led by a professional stylist, you’ll learn:
How to do a neat ponytail
Basic plaits (because Elsa plaits are law amongst our kids)
Simple styles you can do before school, daycare or sport
Tips and tricks to make the whole thing easier
👉 And no — you don’t need to bring your daughter
You’ll each get your own hair dummy + all the tools to practice on.
🍺 Important details (aka the good stuff)
$40 per person
Includes a free pot on arrival
Runs for ~2 hours (with breaks — you’ve earned it)
It’s our kitchen's Parmy Night, so dinner = sorted
⚠️ Limited spots
👉 Tickets will go fast (our two plaits and pints events sold out in a few hours)
👉 If it sells out, we'll run it again so join the waitlist so you don’t miss out
Because being a great parent isn’t just the big stuff —
it’s the school mornings, the sports days, and yes… the hair.
Grab your spot, grab a beer, and finally nail the plait.
FAQs
- Do I need to bring anything?
Nope. We've got all the tools. The dummies. The teacher. And a full bar and kitchen to keep you fed and hydrated
If your daughter has a hair brush she prefers - please feel free to bring that. - Can I come alone?
Of course! This s about local parents getting to know each other while they learn something.
- Do I need any experience?
Nope! Our teacher will step you through everything, and you'll be practicing on a hairdressing dummy.
There's no judgement, most of us can't even do a ponytail! - Is it for Dad's only?
Not at all! While a big fuss is made for it to be about dads, anyone willing to learn is welcome!
