Planet Puberty Webinar
Event description
Planet Puberty’s Five-Webinar Series is Back!
We’re excited to bring back our popular five-webinar series, designed to help parents and carers support their children through the changes of puberty. Each session offers practical advice, expert insights, and open conversations on key puberty topics:
📅 Monday, 28th April – Hygiene
Learn how to support your child with new hygiene routines, including using deodorant, washing their penis/vulva, showering regularly, and shaving facial hair.
📅 Monday, 5th May – Masturbation
For parents and carers of children with disability, discussing privacy and masturbation can be challenging. We’ll explore how to talk about masturbation, what’s normal, teaching private behaviors, and addressing pornography.
📅 Tuesday, 13th May – Wet Dreams & Erections
Discover strategies and resources to help your child understand and manage wet dreams and erections.
📅 Monday, 19th May – Periods
Special guest Dr. Evonne Ong shares tips on preparing your child for periods, managing menstrual health, and seeking support from a doctor.
📅 Monday, 26th May – Managing Emotions
Psychologist Sarah McCluskey joins us to discuss puberty hormones, handling mood changes and outbursts, and talking to your child about sexual feelings.
Join us for this informative and supportive series to gain the knowledge and tools to help your child navigate puberty with confidence!
