Planetary Health Bushcare - Spring / Summer 2025
Event description
The Planetary Health Bushcare Group meets from 1.30 to 4.30pm on the first Saturday of the month. It's an inspiring group of locals dedicated to restoring habitat for wildlife in the Blue Mountains and at the Planetary Health Precinct. Each session focuses on a different area of habitat and includes great conversations and a delicious afternoon tea! You’ll learn how to regenerate landscapes to increase biodiversity, and get experience in identifying native species, and removing invasive weeds.
All tools, gloves and training will be provided by Council’s Bushcare team. No experience is required and everyone is welcome.
If you have any questions or would like to attend, please contact Karen Hising (Bushcare Officer) via email at khising@bmcc.nsw.gov.au or call the Bushcare Office on 4780 5623.
This activity is the first in a full day of Skill Share activities at the Centre that includes Fashion Upcycling from 9am, as well as other workshops and forums.
