Planning for Planting with Belinda Moody
Event description
Getting involved in National Tree Day or biodiversity plantings with your students is a great way to engage with big picture environmental concepts and it’s lots of fun. But how do you actually go about it in a way that will increase the chances of success? The last thing you and your students want is to see the plants die or taken over by weeds. The last thing your principal wants to see is a big tree in the wrong place! In this workshop Belinda Moody will show you how you can take steps months before your planting to lead to better outcomes for your students and your plants. Belinda is a qualified horticulturalist with 8 years of teaching experience and many planting events under her belt.
