Event description
Planning For Success (Goal setting workshop)
Do you know how to set goals? How often do you achieve the large objectives that are really important to you? If you’re having trouble following through with your goal planning, you may be tempted to just stop trying.
Goal setting has been proven to be a more effective method of achieving targets as opposed to aspirations. In order to be able to achieve your lifetime goals, it is important to set them effectively. If you are looking for a goal-setting workshop to enhance your skills, this workshop is ideal for you. The talented Gabriela Hart will lead participants to develop accurate goal-setting skills for overall development.
Gabriela Hart, Is a professional migrant woman from Venezuela,
she decided to move to Australia due to a dictatorship, currently
going on in her home country.
Two main aspects of her life are running and engineering.
She has more than 10 years of experience working as a mechanical
engineer, most of them in the food industry.
she has been running long distances for the last 20 years.
After starting from scratch in this new country (Australia) that now she calls home, and being able to overcome different obstacles on the way such as a
the language barrier, a new culture that initially she felt she did not fit in, with the addition of not having any family or friends when she landed in this country, she has found that there is nothing stopping us from achieving what we want in life other than ourselves.
She thinks there is always more room to grow. That is why she decided, after
achieving what for her was the Australian Dream, she wanted to keep
growing instead of settling down. With that aim in mind, she decided to start
a 100 days project called "100 days speaking" to inspire and challenge
herself to improve her public speaking skills. And after that, she started "Ingenieria para el éxito" where she combines engineering and running tools to help people to set clear goals and define a clear path to achieve them.
