Event description
Join Upper Goulburn Intrepid Landcare for an action-packed weekend of fun, learning and adventure!
Activities over the weekend will include tree planting on a private property for wildlife habitat, plant ID and scat ID workshops, hiking in the beautiful Lake Eildon National Park, night spotlighting for the elusive Southern Greater Glider and camping!
Key information:
Meet at 10.30am Saturday for an 11am start (exact address of meeting location will be released upon registration) - let us know if you need or can offer carpooling.
Cost is $15 and will cover lunch and snacks on Saturday, breakfast, lunch and snacks on Sunday and camping fees. (Note: Saturday dinner will be at a local pub at participants own expense)
Bring appropriate clothing (it will get cold at night!), close-toed sturdy shoes, water, hat, drink bottle, back pack (for approx. 3hr hike), and all personal camping gear (incl. tent/swag, sleeping bag, mattress, chair, torch, cutlery and crockery). Bring gloves for tree-planting if you have them.
We will be camping at unpowered sites at the Alexandra Showground Caravan Park. If you do not have access to camping gear, please let us know as we may have some spare gear we can lend.
Feel free to just join for one day if you cannot commit to the entire weekend! - just let us know when you register :)
