Join us at Āio Wīra for a Plant-Based Christmas Lunch that’s part cooking show, part team experience, and all delicious fun.

Led by Maja Moors — an intentional chef and MSc of Molecular Gastronomy with over 100 masterclasses and cooking workshops to her name — this is more than just lunch; it’s a creative, hands-on culinary adventure.

Get involved (or simply sit back and taste!) as we create a vibrant, locally inspired menu featuring Hibiscus, Kawakawa & Mint Spritzer, Smoky Jackfruit Wellington with Kūmara Mash, and Strawberry & Coconut Panna Cotta.
A vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free option is also available on request.

After lunch, unwind in nature — listen to the birdsong, wander through native bush, or cool off with a refreshing swim in the river. For the ultimate finish, enjoy a session in the spa or sauna — the perfect way to round off your day of relaxation and flavour.

Suitable for up to 15 people. Note, this event will only proceed with a minimum of 5 people.
