You’re invited to join the Friends of Cowies Creek Sunday 24th November 10-12 for the Clean up or just to sit and enjoy the parklands around it and to stay for the free Plant Based festive picnic supplied by Transition Streets Geelong at 12/12.30 with abundant foods to share and recipes we can email you.

** PLEASE IGNORE THE TIMES IN THE EVENT unless they correspond with the above times. Having trouble setting the correct date and times on this website.

What to expect:

“Come along and help us tend to this water way cowies creek on Wadawurrung country.

Come any time from 10am onwards till 12pm where we will be picking up rubbish along the banks of the creek.

Bring inclosed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, water any bags, gloves or rubbish pinches you have, but we will have a small amount available for folks!

We want all to come, there is no pressure on picking up rubbish, or for the whole time, go as slow or fast as you feel you need.

Or just come to connect with the creek, the community and go for a wander.

Hope to see you there beautiful people!”

Or ….

if you want, just come for the picnic afterwards around 12.30. Should be able to see us from the Seagull Paddock Carpark.

Free but please book for catering purposes.

This is the fifth of a series of 6 events run by Transition Streets Geelong in our mini Sustainable Living Festival.
