Plant Circle - January
Event description
In this offering, we will sit with a new plant each month. This month, we will be sitting with Cedar. We will create sacred space together, introduce ourselves to the plant, and set intentions. Before we begin our journey, we will make medicine with Cedar (tbd what specifically).
Participants will have the option of taking a small dose of Momo’s handmade tincture. Even though we will not be working with any psychoactive plants, it is not uncommon to have a spiritual, somatic experience. Momo learned this method of plant communication from her mother, who learned it from her family. This offering is open to people of all experience levels and backgrounds. Join us as we delve into the magical wonders of this ancient healer!
Please bring a pillow, a blanket, a water bottle, pen and paper/something to write on, and anything else you may need to feel cozy.
Momo is a queer/multiracial/Indigenous folk herbalist, witch, gardener, land tender, massage therapist, and birth doula. She learned the magic of plant medicine from her family, and has been working with plants in this way for over 20 years. Throughout the years, she has held many circles and led many rituals. Momo is honored to carry the legacy of her ancestors and share this wisdom with her community.
