🎙 Kick off with a 30-minute research talk lead by Associate Professor Brett Ferguson, head of the Integrative Legume Research Group (ILGR) at UQ’s School of Agriculture and Food Sciences and a keynote speaker at the 2024 International Conference on Legume Genetics and Genomics (ICLGG).
His research explores molecular genetics, CRISPR genome editing, and bioinformatics to uncover how genes and signals drive plant development – especially in legumes.
🥼 Then take a 20-minute lab tour of UQ’s world-class Legume Lab facilities.
☕ Finish with a 20-minute networking session at Darwin’s Café - free coffee included!
