Event description

Have you ever wondered "WHAT PLANT IS THAT?"

Come and join ecologist Zohara Lucas from Southern ACT Catchment Group for an in-depth plant identification session at Farrer Ridge Nature Reserve.
Farrer Ridge has an excellent example of native grasses, woodland with healthy shrub layer and a good dose of environmental weeds.
Learn from members of Farrer Ridge ParkCare why this site is special and how they are taking care of this area.

Please wear enclosed shoes, be weather wise, don sun protection and bring a drink bottle to keep hydrated.
You may also wish to bring a notepad and pen.

You Me Nature Now is a community group for nature lovers aged 18-30 with an interest in connecting with and caring for nature.
An initiative by Landcare ACT through the 2024/25 ACT Environment Grants Program.
If you're interested to learn more, you can join the WhatsApp community - simply email Sally.Holliday@landcareact.org.au for details.
