Join our community tree planting and nature talk with naturalist Karen Retra- a free family event.
10.00am-12.30pm on each day:
- Friday 21st June 2024
- Sunday 23rd June 2024
Each planting day will comprise:
10.00am — Community tree planting
12.00pm —Walk and talk with naturalist Karen Retra.
12.30 BBQ lunch
Please bring gardening gloves and wear sturdy shoes/boots and a water bottle. We’ll provide the tools and the plants.
Meet at the shelter in David Winterbottom Park, near Yarralumla Drive.

If arriving by car, we recommend parking on the median-like strip next to the main part of Yarralumla Drive (also marked on map).
Access from the main road as the road in front of the houses has a curb.
These plantings along Huon Creek are a community led project restoring native habitat, presented by Friends of David Winterbottom Park with support from Wodonga Urban Landcare Network.
