Planting day with Te Ara Kākāriki
Springfield Planting site
Event description
Kia Ora SVAers!
On Sunday, the 5th of October, we will be joining Te Ara Kākāriki for their biggest native tree planting of the year in Springfield. The goal of the project is to contribute to the native corridor that will eventually link the Canterbury Foothills with Te Waihora Lake Ellesmere.
We will meet outside the UCSA building at 8:45 a.m. and provide transportation for you to the planting site. We will aim to return to the UCSA by 4.30pm.
Lunch and morning tea will be provided, and we can cater to dietary requirements. Make sure you bring warm clothes, appropriate outdoor footwear, plenty of water, and a hat.
Can't wait to see you there!
