Get your hands dirty and help our beloved platypus!
We are partnering with Mulgoa Valley Landcare to help improve habitat for our beloved animal at Factory Road Reserve, where platypus have been spotted!
Join us for a morning of hard work and info sharing:
- Hear about Mulgoa Valley Landcare’s ongoing work to save this iconic species
- Learn about Dr Michelle Ryan from Western Sydney University's latest platypus research; and
- Help with a planting activity to improve the riparian habitat.
Refreshments and all equipment will be provided.
This platypus education event is funded through the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program. Mulgoa Valley Landcare Group will be receiving $427,500 as part of this $2 Billion program delivering transformational infrastructure across Western Sydney.
