Planting Zone Working Bee - Bathurst Campus
Event description
Last September, Sustainability at Charles Sturt in conjunction with our Facilities Management Team and the Bathurst Environmental Working Group ran a tree planting day on the Bathurst Campus. The establishment period of these plants is the most crucial for their success. As a result, we are running a working bee to revisit the planting area and provide some tender love and care to the plants in this zone. This will involve checking on current health of the plantings applying fresh layer of mulch, fixing up trees guards, weeding around the immediate area of the plants and watering of plants (if needed).
The event is open to everyone! Students, staff and community members. Be sure to bring a hat, water bottle and gloves.
Exact location for meeting on the day can be found here:Â Meeting Spot for Working BeeÂ
