Webinar: Plants as effective mediators, novel anti-virals and therapeutic agents in the immune system

This webinar will be an evidence based topic, on plant chemistry as therapeutic agents in supporting general immune function focusing on medicinal plants that have antiviral effects by either inhibiting the formation of viral DNA or RNA or by inhibiting the activity of viral reproduction.

The past year has been an unusual and challenging year in healthcare, particularly when addressing how we build up our clients to strengthen their immune systems, over two sessions we will examine the effects plant medicine can have on the complement system and our innate adaptive and acquired immunity. We will identify compounds and their mechanisms, appropriate dosaging and any cautions that may be required.

Part II: Plants & Fungii their role in Inflammatory & Immune response

We will cover the preliminary, non-specific innate response and cytokine effects as well as specific adaptive response involving T-cells, B-cells and antibodies that follow.

Nigella sativa, Sambucus nigra, Theobroma cacao; Echinacea spp., Piper methysticum, Cannabis spp., Astragalus membranaceous, Andrographis paniculate, selected mushrooms and marine plants.

This is part 2 of a 2 part series. You may choose to purchase just one webinar or both parts.

Part 1 covers Phytochemistry: Constituents as immune mediators.
