Plants of Cultural Significance

We are pleased to invite you to the first in of a series of workshops aimed at increasing awareness about First Nations practice for our Landcare members and community. This event will leave you informed and inspired about Bundjalung plants with a cultural significance. Plants that are significant for art/craft or tool making and also for riparian restoration will be the focus of the event. There will be workshops on art, weaving, ethnobotany, garden design, language and the significance of culturally important plants. We will also be planting out a garden with the plants featured in the workshops. The workshop will run from 10am to 2pm, and is fully catered. Your hosts are Richmond Landcare Incorporated and the Bundjalung Tribal Society, Namabunda Farm.
