Platform 1225 Conference, March 26th, 2026
Event description
Featuring international expert presenters alongside a wealth of local talent, including a panel with young people, Platform 1225, 2026 is sure to be our best yet. We’re eager to ensure our that those working with young people are learning about up-to-date international best practice to ensure they are as skilled and confident as possible in this dynamic and nuanced work.
Our conference is focused on building a solid platform for young people aged 12 to 25 from which they can gain the support and skills necessary to confidently enter adulthood. QYHC acknowledges that connection and relationships are key for all young people and underpin our collective work.
As an organisation, we aim for holistic responses with regard to the wellbeing of all in our society and systems. This is particularly so for children and young people who experience life and our systems through a specific developmental and experiential lens. Platform 1225 is an opportunity for all to come together across government and non-government sectors to address these vital issues.
QYHC is committed to improving the life opportunities and wellbeing of young people by working collaboratively across government and non-government organisations and with key stakeholders. We recognise the importance of a variety of housing and support options for young people and addressing the multitude of associated issues that impact wellbeing such as poverty, domestic and family violence, access to education, health services, income, safety, and social inclusion.
