Scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours. I've been searching for you at parties. We'll be walking home at 6.00am. I discover fragments of you woven in how I dress.
Sitting on my old apartment floor, we'll have stories to retell way later on. 

Tucked away on the top floor of a bustling pub, Piper and Aubrey found themselves unexpectedly paired at a lively gathering. As they engaged in conversation, their body language shifted, and laughter flowed easily between them. Piper was drawn to Aubrey's dry sense of humour, and they began to share stories and confessions. After the first round of drinks, they became increasingly absorbed in each other's company. Hours slipped by unnoticed, but the enchantment of their chance meeting lingered, creating an unforgettable evening filled with the warmth of newfound friendship and spontaneous joy amidst the chaos of the night.  

Welcome to Third Rodeo's Platonic Lovers gathering. A large platonic social gathering designed for people to explore friendship, connection and playfully introduce themselves. Platonic love should be searched and celebrated and we're giving people a good chance at finding it this month!

EVENT DETAILS:

7.00pm - 11.45pm ⭐

Come join us on the evening of Friday 28 February for a social gathering at, The Birmingham Hotel (Upstairs), Fitzroy. It is a casual, but charming atmosphere, privately booked out for you to socialise among the Lesbian/Queer community. Grab your Cabernet Sauvignon or Coke Zero from the bar and turn strangers into dearest companions. 

Limited capacity. You never know who you'll meet.

8.00pm - 8.45pm

★ Speed Mating Activity: You can be expected to go on at least 5 friend dates. 

- Always introduce your name & pronouns 

- Questions are fun and creative! Nothing too serious here!

- Participants progress from one table to the next. Number of mate dates will be determined on how many participants there are. On the night we will determine which direction we will move in. Please notify the host if you have any mobile accessibility requirements so we can assist you (-:

★ Name Game: You never know who you'll meet. Get given a guests name upon arrival and make it your mission to find them. There’s a question on the back to ask them if you’d like. This game creates chatter, banter and memories. The connections are boundless.

Note: Once you ask someone their name, even if it is NOT your person, you should exchange questions (-:

★ Uno Cards will be made available. 

★ Call me cards: Keep in contact with each other. Write your details down on one of the 'Call me Cards' displayed around the venue and give it to them. It's a lovely gesture, an old fashion trick that works like charm! 

This is operating at a licensed venue. Please do not BYO. This event is designed for persons 21+. Please note, you will be exposed to loud chatter, large crowds, background music and mood lighting. Photography will be present, although, if you wish to not have your photograph taken, let us know. This venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. We are working assiduously towards functions that are fully disability accessible.
