Join Jules from Flow and Flourish and Sue from MUD Ceramics for a full day of creativity, connection and mindful flow at Little Forest Farm in Milton.Â
In this nature-immersed workshop, Sue will guide you in designing and handcrafting your very own platter and plate set, while Jules will introduce you to accessible mindfulness practices to support your nervous system and enhance your creative experience.
We’ll begin with a mindful nature walk, gathering mini boulders to shape your pottery, followed by a delicious morning tea. A delicious lunch will be provided,made from fresh produce.
Pottery is not just an art form; it’s a grounding practice that connects us to the earth and each other. and this full day experience allows you to connect with both fellow participants and some cheeky farmyard friends.
What’s Included:
- All materials: clay, firing, and glazing for your pottery
- Nutritious morning tea, lunch, and refreshments
- Time to play, connect, and immerse yourself in creativity and mindfulness
Firing & Glazing Process:Â Your pieces will be fired and glazed after the workshop. Once your pottery is bisqued (in approximately two weeks), Sue will invite you to the MUD studio to glaze your creations. The process will take about four weeks from start to finish, and completed pieces can be picked up or mailed for an additional cost.
This workshop is open to both beginners and those with ceramics experience. Participants must be 16 years or older. Spaces are limited, and a minimum of five participants is required to proceed.
