    Event description

Join Manning Landcare Inc. & Stewarts River Catchment Group on Sunday 10th November at Johns River from 9am to midday to delve into the fascinating world of Platypus and the role water quality plays in the survival of this species, other aquatic animals and the health of our wider ecosystems.

We will be joined digitally by Dr Gilad Bino from the University of New South Wales’ Centre for Ecosystem Science in order to gain a greater appreciation of Platypus, their lives and the challenges they face in our modern world.

Following the presentation we will stretch our legs and go for a walk with Sal Stutsel, Catchment Officer from MidCoast Council to learn how you can get involved in citizen scientist programs currently underway to monitor water quality and the fascinating space that is eDNA water testing.

Full event details, including location, will be provided after you book your ticket.
