PLAY OF THE SENSES | BLINDFOLDED SOMATIC DANCE
Event description
🌑 Play of the Senses: A Blindfolded Somatic Dance Journey 🌑
Step into the mystery.
What happens when sight is taken away, and the rest of your senses are awakened?
Play of the Senses is a gently guided somatic dance experience that invites you to explore your body’s natural intelligence through movement, touch, sound, and sensation—without the distraction of sight.
Blindfolded, we soften the mind’s need to control and invite the body to lead.
We become more attuned to our internal world, our felt sense, and our intuitive movement. We return to the wisdom of the body, moment by
moment.
This is a space for:
✨ Deep listening to your body
✨ Connecting with your inner landscape
✨ Expressive, intuitive dance
✨ Sensory exploration
Facilitated by Ceri, a somatic dance facilitator and dance movement therapist-in-training, and Marissa (DJai Ma), who will guide us through a rich soundscape to deepen the journey.
This journey is an offering to help you come home to yourself—playfully, gently, and with reverence.
No dance experience is necessary. Come as you are.
