Play us a river - July

An embodied and relaxed alive workshop for folks interested in playing together through improvisation tools of presence, body, movement, sound/voice, rhythm and listening.

Through a progressive layering of these elements we move into a more open structure of guided improvisations and performance practice, rooted in our wider ecologies of dancing reality.

Jump in the flow or simply dip a toe in the waters of play.

No experience necessary, just an intention to be open to the unknown and to let your artist self play. Will also be of benefit to all performers.

Im afraid this venue is not wheelchair accessible.

About me
I am a queer non-binary artist, researcher, and facilitator. My practice draws on my training in dance and theatre forms including deathclown, Butoh, experimental dance, and clown.

I set up creative spaces where participants can move closer to the multiplicity of who we are when not masking/playing 'normal' and able to be in more choices around how to relate with others, humans and everyone else, within a harm reduction ethos.
