TUTOR: Melanie Dilday

Melanie is an experienced and passionate artist who has dedicated her life to fostering a creative and playful atmosphere, especially through her Playful Painting workshops. With over 20 years of experience in teaching art in various mediums, and an innate love for creative exploration, Melanie brings a unique and engaging experience to her workshops.

She believes in the therapeutic connection between art and the soul, often using her paintings as a reflection of her own personal journey. Her passion and enthusiasm for creativity is contagious and instantly creates a safe and creative space for those around her.

Melanie has taught at TAFE colleges, the Fremantle Art Centre in WA, Grafton Artfest NSW, McGregor School Qld, Territory Arts and Crafts NT, Community Arts Bribie Island Qld and Camp Creative NSW and travels extensively holding workshops. She holds a Cert IV  Training and Assessment and loves to share her passion for life through creative expression. She has authored a book Buddha in a Red Dress and runs meditation and dance sessions and intuitive painting classes in Mullumbimby and Mt Tamborine on a regular basis. What Melanie loves about her long artistic career is that she has truly found her groove through this intuitive painting process that is a culmination of all her greatest joys and strengths. Dancing, personal growth, meditation, creative expression and colour.
