Playing with Time

The Futures Methods from Around the World (FMAW) team at the School of International Futures (SOIF) presents a series of public virtual workshops exploring different conceptions of time.

We invite you to bring to the workshop an idea, saying, story, approach and/or tool that makes sense of time in ways that challenge dominant western forms and standardized global practices in today's world. What are the different ways that time is/has been felt, thought about, and experienced across contexts? What might this reveal about notions of "pasts", "presents" and "futures"?

In our workshops, we will be sharing our ideas, exploring implications across personal, relational and systemic levels, and charting commitments we can make to further our collective learning.
