Playsure {Hallowen} 2026
Description
This Halloween, Playsure takes over Centurian — a labyrinth of dance floors, hidden rooms, steamy spaces and places to play.
Lose yourself for the night as we transform this incredible venue into a Halloween playground built around music, performance, curiosity, connection and consensual exploration.
At the heart of the labyrinth, an incredible lineup of DJs and performers will take over the dance floor, while beyond it you’ll discover multiple play areas, intimate corners and chill spaces tucked throughout the venue.
And then things get a little hotter...
Centurian is home to a huge jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, alongside plenty of showers and spaces to cool down, reset and disappear back into the night.
Dress for Halloween. Dress for play. Dress to dance. Dress to be discovered.
As always, Playsure is a consent-led, sex-positive space where curiosity is encouraged, boundaries are respected and enthusiastic consent sits at the centre of everything we do.
Welcome to the labyrinth.
Dresscode: HALLOWEEN
Halloween is our biggest event of the year! And we love how crazy everyone goes for it. Nothing is too much (or too little ;)
Dark, decadent, ridiculous, terrifying, beautiful, barely there or completely transformed. Come as a creature, a character, a fantasy, a nightmare — or something we don’t yet have a name for.
Costume is strongly encouraged. Lingerie, fetishwear, swimwear and creative interpretations of Halloween are all welcome. Please note that no clothing is allowed in the jaccuzzi at all. And if you are wanting to make use of the wet area (jaccuzzi, sauna & steam room) you cannot be covered in SFX / makeup / fake blood. One towel is available per person (just ask at reception) just make sure you can get in and out of your outfit/costume easily.
Nudity is welcomed within designated play and wet areas, but please keep genitals covered in the dance floor, bar and other non-play spaces.
This is your night to be strange & spectacular, all at once! 🖤

FRIDAY'S LINEUP
22:00 - 23:30 — RUBI0
Born in the Canary Islands and now based in Auckland, RUBI0 brings deep grooves, melodic textures and driving rhythms into our Halloween labyrinth.
With more than a decade behind the decks and as co-founder of Hacienda, RUBI0 has become a familiar face within Auckland's underground electronic scene, building a reputation for energetic, immersive dance floors.
Moving between house, deep tech, melodic techno and techno, his sets balance emotion with energy — shifting from hypnotic grooves and slow-building tension into those delicious peak-time moments when the whole room moves as one.
He's played across some of Auckland's most respected underground venues, including Neck of the Woods, Il Brutto, Mothership and Double Whammy, sharing lineups with the likes of Greg Churchill, Josh Heywood, Mike Rish, Dirdy Gerdi and Ondrbk.
This Halloween, expect RUBI0 to take us deep, dark and hypnotic — before turning up the energy and letting the labyrinth do the rest.
23:30 - 00:45 — ARDON ENGLAND & RYAN BORNE
This Halloween, we're bringing something a little different into the labyrinth.
ARDON ENGLAND & RYAN BORNE blur the line between DJ set and live performance — pairing the driving energy of Ryan behind the decks with ARDON's unmistakable live vocals, commanding stage presence and crowd interaction. Original music, exclusive edits, live vocals and dancefloor anthems collide to create something spontaneous, energetic and uniquely human.
Ryan has spent more than a decade building dance floors across Tāmaki Makaurau, moving through house, tech house, techno and hard house with sets driven by pace, tension and the unexpected. Alongside him, ARDON brings explosive live performance, powerful vocals, Māori storytelling and a genre-defying approach to electronic music.
For Halloween, expect them to take us through house, tech house, techno, vocal house, UK garage and disco edits — curated for the room, the atmosphere and wherever the night takes us.
00:45 - 02:15 — LE STAG
Le Stag learned to DJ on champagne-soaked terraces in St Tropez. He learned what music is for in the New Zealand bush.
Co-founder of Auckland's Sorry Mum events, he started out playing chic seaside house before Aotearoa's doof scene dragged him somewhere darker — bass-forward, hypnotic and built on rolling low end and the slow trade between tension and release. Two consecutive years on AUM Festival's Kanuka stage cemented the shift. Less hype, more feeling.
This Halloween, Le Stag enters the labyrinth, bringing deep house, minimal techno, indie dance and filthy beats to Centurian's dance floor.
Expect something dark, seductive and deliciously dirty — music that creeps under your skin, pulls you further into the night and makes finding the exit increasingly irrelevant.
02:15 - 02:30 — COPPER MAESTEAL
Copper MaeSteal is the flesh-suited mime-clown mother who just wants a hug. Serving the bizarre and almost human-like, she smiles with an internal chuckle and an unwavering willingness to perform for all.
With a background in counting basic numbers, looking in multiple directions and possessing smelling capabilities, Copper birthed and nurtured the closing of NZFW ’23 & ’25, while continuing to twirl and swirl for others’ enjoyment.
For the first night of Halloween, she arrives at Centurian with balloons and boobies, flesh and cooties, dressed in white, black and red all over — fetish high-heel boots beneath.
Please say thank you to those before you, and welcome Copper MaeSteal… with lipstick on her teeth.
02:30 - 04:00 — SAM&I
Emerging from the depths of Stokes Vegas, SAM&I brings a refined edge to the underground — and this Halloween, he's heading deep into the labyrinth.
His sound is hypnotic, driving and unapologetically sensual, with rolling basslines, dark textures and slow-burning tension that builds with intention. This isn't techno for the faint-hearted; it's for bodies that move with purpose.
There is discipline in his sets. Precision. Control. A steady hand guiding you further into the darkness.
For Halloween, SAM&I will be crafting a journey made for Centurian: dim lights, hidden corners, locked eyes and sweat on skin, as the line between restraint and release begins to blur.
Sexy techno. Dark energy. No wasted movement.
SATURDAY'S LINEUP
22:00 - 00:00 — SHOVAAV
Joining us inside Centurian's Halloween labyrinth is a very familiar face, Shovaav — bringing a groove-led journey of deep house, melodic rhythms and organic textures to the dance floor.
Fittingly, "Shovaav" is Hebrew for cheeky, mischief and fun — a spirit that feels particularly at home amongst the strange goings-on of Halloween. His sets are playful, uplifting and effortlessly connective, with a talent for creating the kind of atmosphere where conversations become dances, strangers become friends, and inhibitions gradually disappear.
A long-time member of our community and no stranger to our dance floors, Shovaav returns to guide us into the night with plenty of cheekiness, a little mischief, and exactly the right amount of trouble.
00:00 - 00:10 — DANI VR
A ritual of luxury, sensation and visual excess. Dani VR invites you into a world where beauty, curiosity and the unexpected collide — something you don’t quite understand, but absolutely want to figure out.
Blurring the line between performance and experience, Dani draws you in slowly, playing with anticipation and leaving just enough unexplained to keep you watching. An invitation to look closer, indulge your curiosity and let yourself become absorbed in the moment.
You may not know exactly what you’re about to witness.
You just know something beautiful is about to happen.
00:10 - 02:10 — MAX D.ACE
Born Maxence Dautremant in Paris and now based in Auckland, Max D.Ace has been chasing the feeling music creates between people since he was eight years old.
His journey started with a white keyboard and the sounds of hip hop, soul, funk and rap, before the higher BPMs of house and techno pulled him firmly towards the underground.
Today, his sound moves through minimal and deep tech, tech house and indie dance — groove-heavy, playful and built to bring bodies together.
This Halloween, Max D.Ace steps into the Centurian labyrinth with a sound made for a Playsure dance floor: deep grooves, rolling basslines and just the right amount of mischief.
02:10 - 02:25 — COPPER MAESTEAL
You thought you’d seen the last of her. Unfortunately, Copper MaeSteal is still here.
Our flesh-suited mime-clown mother returns to Centurian for a second evening of the bizarre, the almost human and the increasingly unhinged. She can count basic numbers, look in multiple directions and, yes, she still possesses smelling capabilities.
Having survived Night One with balloons, boobies, flesh and cooties intact, what Copper has planned for her second coming is perhaps best left unexplained.
White, black and red all over, fetish high-heel boots beneath. Welcome back Copper MaeSteal… still with lipstick on her teeth.
02:25 - 04:00 — SHARKRA
After absolutely blowing us away as the closing DJ at CLEAR, and soon again at MINI.UNDIES, SHARKRA returns to guide us into the final hours of our Halloween labyrinth.
As Centurian enters its strangest and most deliciously unhinged hours, expect SHARKRA to take control of the dance floor with the genre-defying sound that's made her such a force in Aotearoa's electronic scene.
Driven by a quest for peace through music, Miss Eclectic SHARKRA made her debut at Ignition Festival in 2019. Since then, she's played some of Aotearoa's biggest stages — Splore, AUM and Dimension — and taken her sound across Australia, Asia, South America and Europe.
She joined DoubSquare Records in 2022 and Ovnimoon Records in 2023, releasing a compilation album along the way.
Powerful, eclectic and poured straight from the soul — lose track of time and space with SHARKRA.

🎃 A QUICK NOTE ON L1 + L2 AT HALLOWEEN
Every person attending Halloween will need to hold an L2 Pass. There will be no L1-only tickets for this event.
You’ll notice on the venue map that we’ve marked some areas as L1 and others as L2. This doesn’t relate to the pass you need to attend — it defines what can happen in each part of the venue.
💙 L1 AREAS
These are our non-play spaces. They give everyone somewhere to take a break from the Playsure side of the event — dance, have a drink, chat with friends or simply hang out without any play happening around you.
🩷 L2 AREAS
These are the designated Playsure spaces where play can take place. Drinks are not permitted inside any L2 area, which is another reason we’ve created a very clear boundary between the two.
🚻 BATHROOMS
Although the bathrooms sit within the L2 section of the venue, you can of course go to the bathroom by yourself. The partner system does not apply when simply using the bathroom.
So, in short: everyone needs an L2 Pass to attend, but you absolutely don’t need to participate in play. The venue has deliberately been divided so you can move between the party and Playsure environments throughout the night. 🩷💙
