Event description
Write Your Queer Story
A creative writing workshop for everyone.
Join us for Plot Gay, a special Plot Play creative writing workshop for LGBTQIA+ people and allies aged 16 and over. A friend or support person who can help you write your story is welcome.
In this inclusive and accessible session, we will write our own queer stories in a relaxed and supportive environment. Plot Gay is especially designed for people who have trouble with reading and writing, including adults with intellectual disability, but EVERYONE with an interest in creative writing should come along!
No writing experience needed.
You will be guided through fun and creative writing prompts.
You will leave with an outline for your next story.
If you like what you write, you’ll be encouraged to enter your easy to read story in a writing competition later this year.
Winners will be announced on 3 December – International Day of People with Disability.
All materials provided but bring whatever you most like to write with.
