On Friday October 25 join us for this special poetry event with Gabriela Garafulich-Grabois and get her insights on Gabriela Mistral featuring Ramiro Caces from the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.
About Gloria:
In January 2018, the Government of Chile, awarded her the rank of Dame of the Order of Merit Gabriela Mistral for Teaching and Cultural Merit in recognition of her humanitarian work and promotion of cultural heritage through the Gabriela Mistral Foundation. (Decreto 1602 Exento del Ministerio de Educación de Chile).
Areas of personal interest include a life-long commitment to international relations, women's and children's issues, literature, the arts, classical and world music and writing, particularly in relation to Gabriela Mistral, Chilean, Croatian and Latin American culture and volunteer work.
