This special two-in-one event will create a space of connection and creativity around themes of dislocation, disorientation and rediscovering hope and grounding.
Poems for When the World is Ending by Will Small is an evocative collection of poetry written between 2020-2022 exploring what it means to be human in a complex, turbulent and beautiful world.
Spiritual Misfits Podcast is a space to explore faith and spirituality from the fringes.
This event will include a live episode recording of the Spiritual Misfits podcast as well as a book launch and poetry reading. The event will be broken up as follows; you are welcome to come to whichever sections you like.
4pm: Misfits Meet-up & Live Episode Recording
Come meet fellow listeners to the Spiritual Misfits podcast in person and be in the room for a live episode recording featuring a panel conversation and opportunities for Q&A.
6pm: Dinner in Newtown
Grab a group of friends (old or new) and wander down the street for dinner and connection in the heart of Newtown (not included in ticket price).
7:30pm: Book Launch Party
Live reading of poems from the book, cheese platters and some other creative surprises.
Note: Books will be available for purchase on the night for $20. Any funds generated from ticket sales after covering event costs will go to Meeting Ground to support the continued creation of the Spiritual Misfits podcast.
