Poetry Pages with Elizabeth
Event description
Welcome to Poetry Pages, your weekly creative check-in.
This is a supportive space to practice writing poems and to dedicate time to your creative growth and health.
Each week I'll provide poetry writing prompts to add to your toolkit. There'll be time to write, and for questions too.
Some of the topics we'll cover include:
- Finding your flow as a writer
- Finding a sense of joy and play in writing
- Tools for overcoming fear/procrastination
- Self-compassion in creating
- The art of gentle editing
- What it means to find your 'voice' in writing
- How to learn from the poets you love
- Tips to begin editing your poems
- How to give and receive feedback
- How to nourish your creative self
Join me each week for creative community, encouragement and accountability.
