Calling all poets! Have you ever written your significant other a sonnet? Perhaps a short story about star crossed lovers? Or a creative writing journey of self-discovery? Maybe a monologue about Gender Euphoria? Then Goldfields Pride wants to hear from you!
Come down to Just a Little Café on the 27th of October for cosy vibes, warm drinks and a few stories at KB Pride Festival Poetry Slam!
Teens aged 12-18 will be encouraged to take to the stage to explore the question “Who am I?” through the medium of creative writing.
Get your pens and paper ready, and we’ll see you there!
If you want to be involved, but aren’t keen on getting on stage yourself, that’s okay! We will have people on hand to read your pieces on your behalf. So if you’re anxious or shy, don’t worry, this is still for you!
